Team East Village – Estate Care

 

Team East Village are continuing to provide essential services.  These include cleaning the most used areas and touch points and ensuring refuse collection and refuse areas are well maintained. These are vital to keep East Village clean. The team are also doing all the regular H&S and compliance checks in your building. There will be an impact on other services such as gardening while we adjust. We simply ask for your understanding at this challenging time for everyone.

Team East Village – Security

 

The security team remain working 24/7 although there is currently a reduced service.

The focus for the team is on your safety including monitoring the CCTV and fire alarm systems.

Concerns about lack of social distancing

 

It can be a cause for concern when you see people gathering across the Village. EVML have taken some steps to reduce socialising in public spaces, such as closing play spaces. The security team are unable to enforce the government’s advice about social distancing or staying at home.  If you are concerned about a group of people congregating in public or in communal spaces, you can report your concerns to the local police service or to LB Newham’s Enforcement and Safety Team on 020 8430 2000. They take calls 24 hours a day.

The communal courtyards remain open. Please ensure you observe social distancing in the courtyards and keep noise levels to a minimum.
