It is not an official government form and is designed for use on buildings over 18m in height or where there are specific building safety concerns, but is also being used for buildings over 11m. This form is frequently requested by lenders and buyers when a property comes to the market as evidence that the building has been designed, and constructed using appropriate detailing and forms of construction and building materials used to meet the currently acceptable safety standards.
Ratings that are A1 or B1 confirm there is no need for repair/expenditure to meet these minimum standards. (This does mean that expenditure is not required to meet higher standards of repair). A2 and B2 indicates that repair is considered to be required.
The inspections process at East Village is ongoing, and we are communicating the findings to residents as soon as we receive them.
