Further to East Village Management Limited’s recent application to the First-Tier Tribunal Property Chamber (Residential Property) for the dispensation of such consultation requirements under Section 20ZA of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 in respect of potentially planning to enter into a long-term electricity contract in relation to the supply of electricity to the communal areas of all properties at East Village, the requirement of a bundle of documents in advance of the hearing has been submitted to the Tribunal, and as an update a copy is uploaded here for your information.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Agreement will not affect the individual utility contracts you have within your property for your own electricity, gas or water supply. The tribunal will determine this application during the seven days commencing 25 November 2019 on the basis of written representations and further updates will be provided once they are received.
